This is easily one of the best messages for kids and adults alike! Truly a reminder that we shouldn’t fit into the boxes others like to put us in. Being yourself is the most precious gift. This book is a great reminder of it. Amazing story, amazing message, and amazing song that go with it!

On the surface, that seems like Stereo has a minor challenge about fashion but deeper down, it becomes a journey about identity, self-acceptance, and creative problem-solving. This book is perfect particularly for children who might feel “different” or who are exploring identity outside normative constraints. And, it's perfect for teaching all kids about acceptance, differences, and tolerance. I'm a teacher and have used this book in my classrooms and it's been great.
